The Hollywood Sign Hike
There is one HOLLYWOOD sign in the world, painted on a Griffith Park hillside in 1923 as a real-estate billboard. It was supposed to come down after eighteen months. A Working Movie Studio
Warner Bros. is not a museum. It is the working lot where Friends, Ellen, The Big Bang Theory and a hundred films you have seen were shot. The studio tour walks you onto active soundstages, past the New York street set, through the prop warehouse. There is no other city where this tour exists.

Stars in the Sidewalk
Two thousand seven hundred brass-and-terrazzo stars set into the Hollywood Boulevard pavement since 1960. Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali, Mickey Mouse, John Williams. The names you grew up watching, laid into the concrete in the order they were inducted, mile after mile.
By tour type
Or pick how you want to see it.
Open-top bus for the wide loop. Helicopter for the city from above. Walking for the streets, e-bike for the coast, food tours for the rest.
From above
LA looks different from a helicopter.
Hollywood Sign, the Hills, the Pacific coast — all in thirty minutes. Three flights we would send anyone on for their first hour in the air.
After dark
LA after the sun drops.
The city lit up from Griffith Observatory, Hollywood once the marquees come on, sunset through the canyons. Three favourites for the evening shift.
